·     Manage activities of department attorneys, paralegals and outside patent counsel.

·     Assist licensing staff and product management teams with patent license agreements.

·     Advise Board of Directors and Executive Staff on patent and licensing matters and strategies.

·     Support patent litigation and arbitrations, and settlement recommendations.

·     Manage patent portfolio and standards activities.

·     Prepare and maintain department budget.

·     Extensive travel required.

·     15+ years experience in law department or law firm; experience within the corporate law department preferred.

·     Experience in intellectual property and licensing of technology; wireless industry a major plus.
